16 weeks

I'm trying to get back into the swing of things since the holidays. Ive been so lazy lately, its cold outside and kamryn and I would much rather hang around the house than get out in this cold. I'm so ready for the warm weather again. Ive been working at home mostly for the time being. The studio is slow now, so I'm working on files that I haven't had time to get to during our busy time. We will start getting busy again in a month or so, so I'm taking advantage of our slow period to rest a little and get things done. Once March comes we will be so busy I wont be able to look up again until the baby's here.

Ive been feeling great besides being a little tired. I cannot wait to find out the sex of the baby. Kamryn was so cute yesterday we started talking about the new baby and then she said she wanted to sing to the baby. She sang "twinkle, twinkle little star" It was so very cute!

Well, I'm officially 16 weeks! I cannot believe it..These past 16 weeks have flown by and we are so excited for our new little addition to the family.

How far along? 16 weeks
Total weight gain: lost 5 pounds
Food cravings: Ice Cream, nerds
Sleep: not great, just cannot get comfortable
Movement: Lots of flutters, first kick
Maternity clothes: Most definitely
Best moment this week: kamryn singing to the baby
Gender: still thinking boy
What I'm looking forward to: Finding out for sure if the baby is a he/ or she
Milestones: 1st kick

From the baby center: Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length. Right now,hes now the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop.
