waiting...

Our boy is hanging out just a waiting game right now. He is off the ventalitor and just wearing nasal apriator to help him and he started eating today! Yay! It takes him like 45 minutes to eat a ounce of breastmilk and the poor little guy is so tired after eating. But he is doing good Im so proud of him! Im still staying at the hospital with him currently and Shawn is going back and forth while taking care of Kamryn. He has been doing really good taking her to preschool and her end of year party at school and getting her dressed and hair done! That is a achomplishment for him, he struggles getting kams hair done. Kamryn cant hardly stand the fact Tannyn has to stay here at the hospital and not coming home yet. She is sooo ready for him to be home. Im guessing one day next week if he continues to eat good. Our main goal is for him to eat and gain weight before he can leave. His breathing is much better our pedi said he just needs to rest, eat and gain weight so I hope and pray we can do that so this next week he will be home with us.

he is here!

Our baby boy arrived on Friday by emergency c-section..much earlier than he should. 7 weeks early! I had a low placenta called placenta previa and my water broke in walmart on Friday evening and then we rushed to hospital..lots of blood...things didn't look good. Our Dr said we need to get him out and rushed to get a c-section. He is doing great for being 7 weeks early he was 5lbs 12 oz and 18 1/4 inches long. His little lungs are still not fully developed and he is on the ventilator to help him breath and give his body some time. They will be discharging me tomorrow and he probably wont be going home until end of the week if all goes well. He is a fighter and already has a temper if the nurses mess with him too much he certainly lets them know! LOL! Kamryn got to meet him for the first time and what a sweet moment that was she talked to him and told him how much she loved him..it was precious! Its one of those moments you will never forget.
