I'm having trouble trying to update our blog. Its so crazy in our life right now. Between working at the studio, shooting pictures, editing images, taking care of my beautiful little girl and our newest little addition who loves to nurse all the time. I just haven't had time.
Since my last post Tannyn is now 11 pounds and 2 ounces....growing like a weed. He likes to eat every 2 1/2 to 3 hrs. At night he is finally going 4-5 hours whoo! We had a huge scare a couple weeks ago he stopped breathing which scared the crap out of me. I was changing his diaper at the changing table and all of sudden he starts jerking around and I realized he was trying to breath and couldn't..I freaked out a little! I lifted him up pounded him on the back, it didn't work, I started to do breath in his mouth that didn't work. I was literally freaking out!!! I was at the changing table and his nasal aspirator was right there I grabbed it and sucked some stuff out of his mouth and then he started breathing..thank god! I immediately called his pedi and the lady was trying to put me on hold and I was like NO I NEED THE DOC NOW or A NURSE my baby just stopped breathing! We found out there was spit up that was trying to come up but instead it went back down and covered the esophagus causing him to stop breathing. He now has reflux he is on 2 different meds reglan and zantac which he has to take 3-4 times a day. He hates it! He tries to gag it back up scream to the top of his lungs, it is not fun at all! After that episode we were watching him like a hawk making sure he is still breathing. A friend of ours that lives in Illinois is a chiropractor and she suggested that I take him to a chiropractor and they do some massaging and it is supposed to reduce reflux and help get babies off the meds. So I took him to a friend of ours here in town that is a chiro and its hard to tell if its working or not but seems to work a little. I reduced his meds from 4 times a day to 2 times a day and he seems to be doing ok with that. What a post with out any pics!
